One of the world's top direct response copywriters, John Carlton, has written the best press release I have ever encountered on PR Web. Modestly titled Reclusive Copywriter Comes Out of Hiding to Share His Million Dollar Secrets, the press release promotes Mr. Carlton's upcoming "Kick @ss Copywriting Crash Course" on September 13th in Redondo Beach, California.
For PR rookies especially, Mr. Carlton's press release is worth studying. Everything about it -- the headline, sub-head, introduction, body copy, and conclusion -- differentiated it from the dozens of others on PR Web today. I wish I could write like that. John Kuraoka can.
