Candidates: Please watch the spelling in your emails. Not to bust your chops, but I use a Firefox Toolbar which highlights misspellings in emails and HTML documents, making typos stick out like a sore thumb.
So if you were a Baker Scholar at Harvard Business School but have three typos in your cover letter or resume, then you have just completely neutralized any hard-earned advantage you might have had going into the search. >Blam!< Measure twice, cut once.
